I suggest you ...

Support Mercurial repositories.

Mercurial has many benefits over Git, such as support for large 3D files. This would bring game devs to Gitllab.

Just convinced the git lovers in my company to NOT use Gitlab, because we do have non Tech People which also need version management tools, switching e.g. from Powerpoint to Reveal.js for Presentations => git is just no option for non devels (https://git-man-page-generator.lokaltog.net/).

With merc support it would have been no question.

My team and I are game developers and tried to use Git/GitLab, but Git is too hard for the artists, whereas they are very comfortable with Mercurial. So, while I still use GitLab for other projects that only I work on, as a team we've stopped using GitLab due to the lack of Mercurial support.

GitLab is an awesome project and would love to see Mercurial support.

Kallithea-scm has this support but we wanted a hosted setup that is NOT bitbucket and one we didn't have to maintain ourselves. Love that GitLab has a built in CI system. Mercurial is a need if we are to switch to GitLab though.

This would be awesome as I use hg-git currently to push changes to GitLab repos. I'd love to be able to use actual Mercurial utilities such as MQ, named branches, and the concept of families that Git is missing.

Would make me go away from Fogbugz.

I use both Mercurial and git and would love to see Mercurial supported.

We love GitLab, but use it very little because all of our main repositories are Mercurial only.

Please, give us Mercurial on GitLab, we can't wait to switch from BitBucket!

We use Mercurial, this would be needed for us to do a switch - please consider the request.
